Let the River Flow...

So it had to happen, I crashed & burned with Rowan's 'Birch' and so have had all this GORGEOUS KSH sitting there for an age and found just the most PERFECT pattern in Rowan 38 - 'The River' so I started a couple of days ago and am up to Row 19* I just HAD to join a Knitalong and as soon as I can figure out how to post the button on here will put it up.
Here is a picture of the River from Rowan.... and here are my mini beginnings
 
The most GORGEOUS thing about it is a beaded knot type thing that kinda holds it together (kinda hard to see from this picture or indeed even in Rowan 38 mag). The colour is Blushes and what I TOTALLY love about this pattern is I can have a beautiful stole AND have yarn left over to make some of the DIVINE accessories in this Rowan issue. While I am not crazy about a lot of the patterns for clothes I just LOVE the indulgent accessories and the cool funky vibe - more about other patterns I plan to make from this issue later...
Sooo, will sign off for now, Kitty on my Right arm and I can't type ANYMORE!!!

I'm glad you like to new Rowan too! So many people don't like it at all. Can't wait to see more pictures of your River. It's looking beautiful so far.
