Well, after Peta Pledger, where did I head? Why, to Virgin Active's display suite in Melbourne with a teeny weeny detour into Dymocks to put 3 books on hold - 'The Naughty Secretary's Club', Sewing Green and another random one I can't remember - THAT'S HOW MUCH I READ!.....
Soooooooo what happened at the Virgin Suite? (heh heh...just realised how cheeky that sounds...). Weeeelllll, lots of oooohhiinnnggg and aaaaahhhiiinnggg at cute concepts and machines and, along with my DESPERATION to leave Fitness First (little disillusioned with their shocking customer service to say the least) I picked up...
and became a....
Can't WAIT till the club opens in June/July! Dedicated wellness area, climbing wall, stretching machines, video game cycle, key to record workouts, 190 classes a week, vibratone, REAL Pilates AND dance classses, Tai Chi and just THE most up to date fitness equipment AND friendly staff!!!! Sounds like a NOOOOOO brainer and with a super cheap sign up fee and 1/2 price first month with NO CONTRACT and you can cancel anytime with 2 weeks notice you just GOTTA. And, NO, I do not work for Virgin or know anyone who does, I just am REALLY happy to have an alternative to FF, yyyaaaaaahhhy.
Next stop, an ultra super dooper fabric store in the city, mmmmmmmmm........
And that Blythe yumminess I promised you? Check out this fabulous beauty from none other than Christina of Jam Fancy followed by another two of Christina's creations, that Gal is just WWWWAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY talented* The stitching and the detailing are just INCREDIBLE, the Cherries, the little Bunny Rabbits just ALL FABULOUS......
Seriously, you could just EAT up all this Blythe fabulousness, ROBIO, you ROCK!!! Can't BELIEVE how amazing these l'il cuties are Miss Christina, its an absolute honor to be in the same city. If you are a Blythe Fan, make sure you search Ebay sporadically and see if you can purchase a set or buy one of Christina's prints just to have a taster.
