...but haven't yet downloaded them from my phone.
Its been a LOOOOOOOONNNNGGGGG weekend, and not in a GOOD way! I feel like I really haven't had any time to myself and need another already and I *know* it will be a HUGE week at work - maybe I'll try get Friday & Monday off this weekend and do a long one.
Yesterday, with $20 in my pocket for the rest of the week till Friday (payday) I managed to get some calico, a pink heart shaped calculator and a postcard. Today, I had hoped for a day chillin' but since it was Mother's day, I was at the MIL's (mine is in London).
And, after a few days obsessing about Adam Lambert from AI (yes, I am STILL going on about his awesomeness) I've realised what his attraction is - apart from that overtly sexual bi/gay/straight/eyeliner vibe that the eighties was all about - its really about watching someone who is TOTALLY in the zone of doing what he REALLY excels at and isn't that what we all want?
So, thats where I am at...working on how to be more of myself and bringing more of that into my daily life.
Lets end with an Adam quote shall we? When asked about his success on Idol, he said:
" This is an example of believing in yourself, knowing who you are. Anybody that feels different or weird, screw it. Embrace it! Embrace each other's differences, OK? Celebrate it! Its cool to be different."
Oh, I should warn you, I'm out to buy Black eyeliner next week and amp up my Ed Hardy vibe, this eighties chick is BAAAACCCCCKKKKKK!!
KB ROCKS!
